What a good weekend!
Yesterday, Cody's family had a pig roast which turned out to be a great time!
I got to meet Cody's sister who I already love! She's so sweet and she just got engaged, which being the girl that I am, I got excited about, haha! Anyway, we had a pretty good weekend, and I'm sure he's glad it's over with because he had to do SOOOO much work last week to prepare for this thing, so I'm sure he's relieved it's over, haha.
We're gonna try to go to the beach sometime in mid/late July or possibly early August howeverI'm crossing my fingers and hoping we wont have to wait till August.

So, it turns out I suck at having an online blog. I guess it was a bigger fad in high school and now I just don't think about updating it, haha.
Anyway, a lot has happened since the last time I updated!
Scott and I have been officially over for quite a while now, and I definitely think it's for the better. We're much, much, much better off as friends. It's kind of weird to say that, looking back on everything, we were together for about 2 years, and now that we haven't dated for almost a year, the thought of us being together seems really awkward and not right. Things between us aren't awkward at all, we're on good terms...just the thought of doing couples stuff with him is awkward because our relationship is much more like one between siblings.
So, moving on!
Sophomore year was absolutely amazing! Fall semester was an absolute blast and I thought I went out a lot...but then spring semester happened and I definitely stayed out wayyyy too late for my own good every night. It was so much fun though. I auditioned for and got into Melica, which is Etowns girls a capella group and after a semester in Melica, I can just tell that it's going to be one of the highlights of my college days...haha
Oh!! I'm still absolutely OBSESSED with Band of Brothers, and the Military, haha. I just think it's so interesting, all of WWII...I don't think I've ever been so interested in something in my entire life.
Soooo last but certainly not least...I have a WONDERFUL new boyfriend! Hi, Cody!!!!
He's really great. We've been dating for about 2 months now and I'm so excited for our relationship and everything about him. He's 22, and he's suuuuper cute and he's tall and he has big muscles and he can cook and he's really nice and I'm definitely a happy girl! :-)

So, I like NEVER update this...let's see, what's been going on in the life of Christie?
-Summer was good and bad...my friends were amazing and the boys part sucked
-Broke up with Scott, HOWEVER not like completely broken up..idk, it's weird but whatever, moving on
-Back at school and LOVING every minute of it
-I get to ride horses every Tuesday
-I'm obsessed with Band of Brothers
-I've decided that I should have lived in the 40's during WWII..I would have become a nurse for all the soldiers, met and married one, gotten a farm with horses and a plane.
Alright, anyway, so right now I'm just back at school having a blast :-)

So..it seems that I'm really bad at this whole updating thing.
Anyway, my Family is getting a puppy this Friday..which I guess is pretty exciting. We were supposed to get her last Friday, but one of his dogs had to have an emergency surgery the beginning of last week and he wasn't in town to get all the paperwork finished for the puppies.
I'm going to the beach on Saturday with my dad's family for a week..I'm pretty pumped about that, I neeeeeeed to get a better tan.
I guess I never update because I never have anything interesting to say!

So last night, Brandon and I went up to Etown to see some of my friends. :)
I can't wait until next year when Corin and I are roomies!!! God I love that girl, what would I do without her?!?

Anyway, I talked to Scott a little while ago and he should be coming over pretty soon. I like that Scott and I can go without seeing each other. Like during the school year, we see each other like every 2 weeks (some people don't really think that's a lot, some think it's amazing for a long distance relationship). Anyway, this summer especially, we haven't gotten to see each other everyday like we usually do when we're home for breaks because we both have pretty hectic work schedules..but you know what? I'm completely and perfectly OKAY with that because I see other couples that can't stand to be apart (like if they're not together or don't see each other one day, they'll spend like 23987 hours on the phone instead) and it's kind of really annoying. I suppose it's expected out of new couples, but I get so annoyed with people who have been dating for a while and still can't stand being apart. I think it's really important in a relationship to learn to live apart because one day you might have to (like if one person studies abroad or joins the military or something). I also hate it when people like blow off their friends to hang out with their boyfriend. Whatever happened to chicks before dicks?

We're officially getting our puppy on the 30th..my mom and step dad visited the breeder last Friday and the guy said we could take our puppy home on the 30th. I'm SO excited. We're going to start breeding again and taking our dog (which we think we're going to name gracie..she has to have a german girl name that starts with a G because this is the 6th litter and G is the 6th letter in the alphabet..) ANYWAY, when we start breeding again, we're going to take her to Germany to breed since she has a German blood line and it just makes sense to go to Germany. But EVERYONE has to come over to play with her when we get her!

Alright, I think that's about all I have to say right now :)

So I'm FINALLY updating this thing and I'm going to TRY to update it more often...
Anyway, I'm home for the summer! I also have this new awesome job with Brandon doing...get this...selling knives? Christie+cutlery=scary right? haha
So Brandon and I have agreed that we have to hang out like all this time this summer. We went to DC tonight to go to this club. Jackie was supposed to come with us..but I guess something else came up. Brandon and I decided that we should go clubbing in DC weekly..like on college night where people with a college ID can get in for free, and we want to like start getting a big group of people to go every week.
So other than that..nothing else is really new...Scott and I are wonderful in case anyone was wondering.
On a sad note...we had to put our dog down last month :( she was like 12 or something and had a brain tumor and then the cancer spread to all her organs and stuff..but she's in a better place now, so it's better that way.
On a happier note...we're getting a puppy in like 2 1/2 weeks!!! She going to cost like $1500 because she comes from a champion blood line and was bred in Germany. I'm really excited to get her because we're going to start breeding again and taking her to Germany like once a year to do so!!
Hmm..I can't think of any other terribly exciting news. I miss my friends from Etown SOO much, but I get to see them all next month, so it's all good!! Okay, I'm tired, goodnight!
